Founded in 2024, GEM Jamison's Wellness Studio was born out of a passion for mindful practices such as yoga, gentle movement, meditation, the MBSR Program and a desire to share its transformative power with others.

After being in business for a year, "The GEM" has evolved from offering various classes in yoga, pilates, cardio, line dance, etc into hub for yoga, wellness, and community. We have expanded our offerings to include workshops, events, and trainings.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction 8 Week Program

Founder Bio

●Gabrielle Jamison is a wellness educator, yoga instructor, and mindfulness practitioner committed to making evidence-informed wellness practices accessible to individuals and communities.

●She is the founder of GEM Jamison’s Wellness Studio, where she provides yoga, meditation, restorative practices, and mindfulness-based programming designed to reduce stress, support mobility, and strengthen overall wellbeing across diverse populations.

●Gabrielle completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Mind Body Haus. Her professional training also includes Mindful Meditation certification through School of Positive Transformation, qualification as a Level 1 Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher through Brown University, and Level One Relax and Renew Restorative Yoga teacher certification with Judith Lasater.

●Her teaching experience includes adults at LiveFIT Arlington, seniors through Arlington Senior Center, and multi-generational community programming through her studio. In addition to teaching, Gabrielle has led wellness presentations and guided practices for radiology staff at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, facilitated sessions for social workers and caregivers, and presented mindfulness and movement practices for teen girls.

●Gabrielle’s background in healthcare informs her practical, trauma-aware approach to stress management, resilience, and whole-person wellbeing.

●Through community-centered classes, workshops, and educational programming, Gabrielle’s work focuses on helping participants build practical skills for resilience, stress reduction, and long-term wellbeing.

We offer a variety of yoga classes including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative yoga.


Yes, please bring you own mat. We have a few for usage but is first come - first serve.


We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement, such as leggings or athletic shorts and a tank top or t-shirt. Socks are optional for our restorative and yin classes.
